Rewards4Golf, the UK’s leading golf rewards programme, has today announced it will be sponsoring Welsh golfer Rhys Enoch at next week’s 147th Open Championship.
Taking place at Carnoustie for the first time since 2007, The Open, which starts on Thursday 19th July, is set to feature the world’s best golfers who will all be competing for the famous Claret Jug.
30-year-old Enoch last played at The Open four years ago, and he successfully came through the final qualifying stage at Hollinwell GC with rounds of 72 and 70 to claim the 3rd and final qualifying place.
A regular participant on the Challenge Tour, Enoch has attracted lots of sponsorship interest which has culminated in a partnership with Rewards4.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Enoch said: “I played The Open at Hoylake in 2014 and just missed the cut, but it was probably the most enjoyable golfing week of my life.
“It will be an unbelievable event on a fantastic course, so I can’t wait to get there and get started.”
Eileen Stubbington, Head of Marketing at Rewards4, said: “Rewards4Golf is delighted to support Rhys at the 147th Open Championship. Rewards4Golf is all about helping golfers save money on their next driver, dozen balls, golf shoes or even their next golf break, simply by collecting points through their everyday spend with our golf and other retail partners (which number more than 4,500).
“We also give our members access to exclusive rewards and competitions and, through the partnership with Rhys, we are delighted to be able to offer our members even more amazing and exclusive rewards over the coming months.”
“Everyone at Rewards4Golf would like to wish Rhys the best of luck at Carnoustie - we have already collected points by backing him with our betting partners bet365 and Betfred, so fingers crossed!”
